Aquaponics: fostering lively businesses in Greek Islands. Rural development has to be achieved through innovative projects, which provide benefits for both the environment and the local inhabitants. Our dream is an innovative tourism experience for worldwide clients: high quality food, healthy for the people, healthy for the planet. New aquaponics systems will be established in Greek islands, fostering skills and knowledge sharing, while providing crops that could not be produced otherwise. The arid land of Greek Island, with high temperatures, drought problems, and poor soil, make conventional agriculture impossible; but vegetables production, and sustainable fish farming practices, can became true even there, thanks to aquaponics. Our unique selling proposition includes an agro-tourism that will bring you to the future of agriculture. You will experience the state-of-the-art farming practices, and taste their exclusive produce directly in the farm.
Our business proposal suggests the inclusion of aquaponics in the local tourist sector. We want to engage tourists with a local and sustainable food production. Come to our aquaponics agriculture and emerge yourself in the journey of the food you are about to eat.
